I'm Ready For May

I really, really, REALLY thought April meant the coming of Spring. Last year early April brought nice weather and it seemed to hang around some.. This year It seems like we had 3 very precious warm Spring-like days.. And the rest were rainy, cold, and gray.
Today was a typical Iowa gray and depressing day.(shot today)

And then right before sunset the gray went away and the sun decided to make an appearance
It was nice to see the sun, even if it was just for 20 minutes or so.. It brings hope for the coming weeks ahead.

    Happy May Day! It doesn't feel very spring-ish here right now but in a few months we can look forward to roasting! ;D

    The colors came through well in the sunset photos by the way. I love it when it gets that way!
